Scientists from fourteen different Institutions in six countries decided to pool their resources and know-how and work on pre-decided projects in collaboration with one another.
These Institutions are : (from India) S.N. Bose National Centre, I.A.C.S., Bose Institute, Calcutta University, IIT, Kanpur, IIT, Guwahati, IISER, Pune and Tezpur University (from Bangladesh) Jagannath University. (from Nepal) Tribhuvan University. (from Europe) Uppsala University, Budapest University of Technology. (from the US) Ames Laboratory, University of Mississippi.
There are plans to extend the collaboration to Warwick University and Tsukuba University
