1.  Phonon spectra,  thermal conductivity and diffusivity in random alloys.

This project is on. SQS for generating the dynamical matrices is ready. The codes for many atoms per unit cell are almost ready for use.

2. Experimental and Theoretical studies of magnetism in disordered alloys.

Experiments  are being carried out on disordered binary and ternary alloys : like NiMn and AuCrFe . 

Theoretical first principles analysis uisng TB-LMTO-ASA, Lichtenstein formula and mean-field phase diagram calculations have been carried out.

Magnetization dynamics using LLG equations are being studied.
